We are a Family of Christian Believers of Diverse Cultures, Nationalities, and Races,
United To Serve the Cause of Christ to Spread the Gospel Message Globally.
Loving The Nations, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Fredericksburg, Virginia, was founded by retired Lieutenant Colonel Temaki Carr, D. Min. in January 2015. Our mission is to mobilize, equip, and unite the Body of Christ to sow the Seeds of the Gospel through evangelism, missions, educational, and humanitarian initiatives
throughout the world.
Our work began in 2015, when Dr. Carr organized the disjointed Christian community in Benelux, Belgium to support Nepal after a devastating earthquake. We partnered with Nepalese ministries, Belgian Christian communities, and U.S. Christian communities to provide humanitarian relief through an operation called “Two Fish and Five Loaves of Bread.” Beyond providing necessary relief for Nepal, this initiative fortified the Christian communities we worked with in all three countries.
In 2016, we then supported Brussels and Mons, Belgium in the recovery of the terrorist bombing during the Holy Week celebration, assisting with the recovery of victims, scouring hospitals to help find lost family members, and coordinating food trains for victims and their loved ones. From 2016 to 2019, Loving the Nations focused on fostering socio-economic independence among women and youth in Muslim communities in Northern Ghana and Pakistan through literacy education and job skills training. What unites these varying efforts is a vision for Christian communities to work together and be present in the crisis of the everyday in order to show people real love.
By 2020, amid rising cultural and racial tensions and a global pandemic, Loving The Nations turned its focus to racial reconciliation within the United States. Seeing the community of Faith largely uninvolved and absent amidst these crises, we hosted numerous faith-based reconciliation panels and educational initiatives as well as organized numerous successful multi-cultural, -racial, -denominational, and -church Community of Faith Prayer walks in the Rappahannock, VA region, as opposed to protests. Loving the Nations led local church leaders to found two influential faith-based community minded action organizations to aid racial reconciliation and social justice in Virginia.
Following the 2021 domestic terrorist attack on the U.S. capitol, Loving The Nations hosted a prayer session at the Capitol building to uplift Christ and promote reconciliation. In August 2021, Loving The Nations launched three bold initiatives to provide disaster and humanitarian relief to people of Haiti for earthquake relief, the people of Louisiana for hurricane relief, and the refugees of Afghanistan to assist in relocation efforts.
2022 presented the opportunity to formalize the " House of Dorcas" vocational program for Women in Pakistan. The program provides the vocational and literacy skills necessary for these brave women to operate their own small businesses. Also, in 2022, as the war raged in Ukraine, Loving The Nations began to focus on women and children fleeing the war zone. We traveled to Europe to initiate "Mission Ukraine" which focused to provide food, clothing, toiletries and hope to displaced Ukrainian refugees in various communities within Belgium, Poland and Ukraine. Thousands of individuals and hundreds of families were aided through these efforts including displaced, unaccompanied Ukrainian teenagers.
In 2023 we focused on faith based intiatives in the United States. In 2024, Loving The Nations, initiated a Mandate to show the love of Christ to 10 Nations through missions, educational and humanitarian initiates by 2030.
Rather than remaining socially apathetic, and unengaged, we encourage Christians and the Community at large to stand united and lead the change for a better world spiritually, socially, and economically. Our diverse humanitarian and human rights advocacy projects across the world demonstrate the love of Christ and provide an avenue for sharing the Gospel.
